Caledonia's Mason McKenzie Q&A
Nationally ranked quarterback talks about Caledonia's success, his recruiting process, and navigating the OK Red.
Over the past two seasons, Caledonia is 15-2 with Mason McKenzie under center. The Fighting Scots have scored 37 points per game in that time frame, thanks to Mason's dynamic ability to lead an offense. Through five games this season, Mason has completed 30-of-54 passes for 768 yards, 12 touchdowns, and one interception. He's also run the ball 49 times for 691 yards and 10 touchdowns. It’s not a question if Mason will break loose for a long touchdown score, but when.

As we enter the second half of the regular season, Mason was kind enough to answer my questions about his goals, the program that he’s helped build into a perennial contender, and some of his college aspirations.
